Andrea has been involved with Lobo Insurance Agency LTD. since its founding in 1988. She became a licensed agent/broker in the State of Connecticut in 1992. Andrea has had a wide range of exposure to the insurance industry during her career. Initially she worked as a clerk and later as a customer service representative at the agency. Andrea left the agency briefly to attend Boston University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree.

In 1994, Andrea left the agency to work for The Hartford Insurance Company (ITT Hartford Insurance Group) as a Commercial Multi-Lines Underwriter after receiving training through their exclusive "Cluster Program". She worked in the Hartford's Hartford office and later was transferred to the company' field office in Manhattan where she worked on middle to large commercial accounts. Andrea returned to the agency in 1997 and has been an active principal there ever since.

When she isn't working, Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and enriching her knowledge of architecture. Her other activities include volunteering as an appointed member of the Town of Wethersfield CT Design Review Advisory Committee. In her free time she enjoys traveling, playing tennis and the guitar as well as drawing and painting. Andrea's recent achievements include receiving a Master of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural Center and most recently becoming a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks.
